DAS Trader was launched in 2001 to give serious active traders access to the same routing, hotkeys, level-2 depth, and risk controls that institutional desks used. At the time, the retail trading software market was dominated by slow web-broker interfaces. DAS Trader treated the trader as a professional.
More than two decades later, DAS Trader remains an industry-standard platform across prop firms, brokerage white-labels, and education programs. The platform integrates with dozens of broker-dealers worldwide.
Guy Gentile's role at DAS was foundational — building the early product, sales, and trader-relations engine that produced the original customer base. He no longer holds any ownership, role, or relationship with the company.
