No. Guy Gentile has never been convicted of a crime. The March 2016 federal indictment (Crim. No. 16-155, D.N.J.) was dismissed in January 2017 by Chief Judge Jose L. Linares for pre-indictment delay under the Sixth Amendment. The Government did not appeal. There has been no other criminal indictment, no guilty plea, and no deferred prosecution agreement.
"Dismissed" is a court order ending a case. It is the opposite of a conviction. Bloomberg reported the dismissal on January 31, 2017. FINRA BrokerCheck (CRD #2960715) reflects no criminal conviction.
